Nice to meet you!

My name is Samantha Marsh, but everyone calls me Sam. I love writing songs and seeing them bring encouragement and hope to people. My music is hard to describe so I generally go with "singer-song writer" and acoustic driven and I've been leaning towards "Jazz-rock" these days. I've been a musician since I was about 12 and leading music worship since I was 19. Guitar was not my first instrument but it's definitely my favorite. I pretty much just picked it up so that I could play along with songs I want ed to play and the rest is history. I love to do anything from use my songs for music worship and play acoustic shows in coffee shops and bars.

My latest album is called "Basecamp" and it's a combination of songs that talk about some of the hard truths of faith and struggle. These songs feel like being at the base camp, the place where you start packing up and getting ready to head up the mountain, preparing yourself and your mind for a the journey that's ahead.

My new book, The Equipped Music Worship Leader: A Practical Guide is coming soon and I hope to travel and teach from it, helping to equip music worship leaders all over the place.
